How exactly did you come to the determination that this is a scam? The guy is wanting to buy VFR body parts for a 5th Gen VFR and most likely using your picture as a reference but then again I could be wrong. I have posted plenty of ads on Craigslist using pictures that I found on the the internet because in some cases it is more convenient or a better quality picture than what I could provide myself. Maybe your bike is what he wants his bike to ultimately look like since his bike could be disassembled or in bad cosmetic shape hence the reason why he posted the "want to buy" body parts ad in the first place.

Or you could take it as a compliment to how good your 5th Gen looks.

BTW if you go to Google Images and type in "5th Gen VFR" your bike comes up as the first image.

I tend to agree with Rollin there MD. You have a fine clean looking bike and someone found it on the net to use for his add. As mentioned, he is not holding that bike out as being for sale. Personally, I would be kinda honoured if someone was to use my bike's image in such a manner. I guess, if we post images on line, we take our chances. But, everyone has their own sense of ownership to photographs I guess.

If you did a Google search for the word "Douchebag" it would probably take you to the profile of SunOfWolf

The guy is wanting to buy parts, and using a random photo as reference. Not sure how this is a scam?

such a trivial thing to get pissy over.
