    140 miles today, very cold. First decent ride out, bike was fantastic.

    1 mile only on the bike today then on foot up to the ridge - and wow it was cold at the top. Weird how the view could be mistaken for Scotland.

    Nice, I was up at glencoe and then via Oban doing the last of my running in miles, bought the bike in November but was recovering from an operation. Goes in for the first service tomorrow. I have owned 2009 vfr and a vfr1200 in 2010 for about 4 years. but I love this new VFR, a fine homage in my eyes to one of the best bikes ever made.

    I have some video I will stick it up onto YouTube. Was a brilliant day out.

    I fitted a front fender extender, the rear hugger and bags and tall screen came as part of a deal, I also fitted a Scott oiler and a oil cooler guard.

    Scottoiler v system, got the dealer to fit it before they delivered the bike.
