Bought a 2010 1200 few weeks back with about 650 miles on it. Came with a Corbin seat on it with small compartment on the rear perfect color match and fits bike perfectly. Ordered me a Honda OEM rear trunk and took off Corbin seat and added the rear OEM rear rack. Went to put factory seat on and it has a gap between the gas tank and front of seat. Does not look normal to me. Let me know what you think [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Not normal at all,I have no gaps when my seat is locked in,maybe there's something blocking your seat from closing all the way

It's locking in the rear. I cannot get the front to go forward anymore. I have tried everything. The Corbin fits perfectly and just falls into place.

If it locks in the back, unlock it, and slip the front down before forward, and it should hook on to the tabs. You wouldn't be able to lift the front once you're ready to lock down the rear. When mine doesn't go on correctly, it looks like yours and you can lfit the front a bit. When on correctly, you can't lift it at all

My front goes on first. After the back locks into place my front does not move it’s under the tab Wish I had another factory OEM seat to try. My Corbin seat fits perfectly and just falls into place with no binding in the rear key locks and unlocks with out pushing down on the back of the Corbin. The factory seat I have to push down hard on the rear of seat to get the key to turn to unlock it

Makes me wonder if the Corbin didn't fit perfectly, and the previous owner messed with the seat locking mechanism shifting it back a bit for the Corbin.

Mine has a gap, but not that pronounced. Looks a little too high to me.

I looked at the locking system non adjustable. I have tried everything it’s just how my seat fits. When I take in to my local Honda dealership to get the driveshaft replaced under warranty (recall) I will let them look at my seat

They got my driveshaft in today. I will take it in next week and have the driveshaft installed and let them check my seat. I put a new rear Honda OEM top box on it today Next I want saddle bags. But I want the matching Honda OEM. Hoping the price will come down soon as the bike is 8 years old now.
