second time around the block

Hi all

I just bought my second fifth gen VFR last week, second red VFR actually. This bike has low mileage and had a few mods already done so it was a no brainer. It came with a Sargent seat, Helibars, Staintune pipe, and Buell pegs, as well as a few other items. Now to get the suspension sorted and the panniers added. Then down to Washington, Oregon, and California. Maybe see a few of you on the road.

I have been there three times myself and would be there this year too if it were not for a wedding the following weekend in Banff. But WTF. Where's the pix. And where exactly are you. Who knows, we could be riding buds. Hell, you could be my neighbour for all I know.

Congrats on the nice 5th Gen. Welcome to the forum. Hope you make it to California someday. Lots of great roads and many VFR World members. I've always wanted to ride to Vancouver, on my list for sure.

 

my lightly used Givi Kappa monokeys were delivered today so am going to try to mount them up this weekend with the stock exhaust and see where it leads me. i am planning on having a local suspension guru sort out the front forks (race tech) and maybe some steel braided front lines too? any ideas which brand to get, and which USA site to order from?
