98' Honda Interceptor VFR800

I'm tempted to buy it because it's right down the road from me, but I'm not ready to be divorced just yet.

 

I emailed the guy to see if he would sell and ship the top case and bracket to me. It's worth a shot.

 

Damn..........that is a good deal. If I am in the market for a used bike I would pull the trigger and take her home.

 

Scuba, I know!! Like I said, I'm very tempted. If I bought it though, I would have to hide it at a buddies house for a while till I figured out a way to get it past the wife. You think she would believe me if I said someone gave it to me? LOL:wink:

 

I did that before, I get new bike but leave it at my brother house By the time she find out it is too late to be piss or get angry. I would do it again........

 

Just buy it but tell her it was only $350.

There's a saying amongst fisherman. Guess its the same for motorcyclists, and goes something like this:

"My biggest fear is that when I die, my wife sells all my fishing gear/motorcycle for the prices I told her I paid".

 

I do that with guns LOL

When I get it out of the safe, she says "Have you always had that?" and I say, "Yep! Forever!"

 

The guy wrote back and said the top case and rack is $200 if the buyer doesn't want it.

Anyone know where you can buy this bracket? I'd like to see how much it is new. $200 bones seems a little steep.

 

Not really, the top box and bracket run around $400. OEM even higher

Yeah I do that with tires. I only wish I could get two pilot powers for 80 bucks.

 

A buddy of mine left the house on a red Harley Sportster and came home on a BMW R100RS. He was met at the door by his wife who was furious. She said "when you left this morning you were riding a red motorcycle and this one is silver!" He looked her right in the eye and said "I had it painted." She said "Oh!" and went back in the house. The subject never came up again.
