I finally recieved the covers for the passenger grab rails in from bike bandit today. While i was installing them, those "Interceptor" sticker started to bug me. They look more like they belong on a Huffy than a ten grand motorcycle. So, here's the final product...
I'd agree that the Interceptor badging seems oddly retro-squidworthy. but I'm still leaving stuff box stock. Nice pics though
Thanks I appreciate it! I was worried that with the heli's and sprorts touring screen it was going to look like a grampa bike... But, I'm liking it!!!
I agree with you,my interceptor stickers were removed the very day I returned from the dealership! The screen upgrade is coming and the Zero Gravity is at the top of my list. You have made a sweet bike even sweeter! Nice Pics.
Your bike looks great man, are you planning on keeping the grab rails? If not I would be interested in them.
grab rails Yeah I priced those grab rails on Bikebandit and they're like a hundred bucks a piece... F@#$ing A. Plus they seem like something to hang on to (lol). I think I'm going to be keeping them for a while.
Your bike looks great Handle covers and seat cowl were my first changes to. True, the cartoon sticker has gota go.
Can't go wrong with the Heli Bars and the ST screen! Visually they don"t change the bike too much, but make an extremely useful bike even more so!
Looking good... If you want to streamline a bit more, get a 2nd set of rear footrests and cut them down!
huh is that what you did? i was trying figure out how you did that... what did you leave just enough to grab to put it on the center stand, but take the passenger pegs off? anyways it looks great!
the interceptor sticker is on there to remind of its roots the VFR came from the interceptor's of the past but still its looks sexy, good work bro
