I've had my x-11 about 2 months now and love it. First street bike helmet I've owned so I can't compare it to anything else though. It has form fitted to my head quite well since purchased. Very comfortable. I live in Phoenix so I purchased this helmet with the understanding after reading reviews that it would have the best ventilation and I would have to agree. This thing has vents all over it and the channel air flow system seems to work as planned. My head doesn't get sweaty and the front air flow over your mouth and the vents for over eyes work very well. I have gotten sweaty yet, but it's only May. We'll see when July gets here. Great airflow. However, I do think this helmet might be somewhat noisy. Obviously gets better with the vents closed but still seems loud. Again though, I have nothing to compare it too. Definately need to get ear plugs.

I've had the X-11 now about 8 months, wore Arai helmets before that, and before Arai I wore a Bell. I agree with your take on it, ventilation is just incredible...almost too good, I've had little bits of debris get in my eyes on a couple occasions. It's quieter too than my previous Arai (quantum F), and you just gotta appreciate the ease of the visor change mechanism vs Arai.
