hey everybody...i just got my 04 VFR a cpl weeks ago.....and in the past i have always used a cable clutch in stead of hydraulic and to be honest ive been having trouble adapting to it....on both shifting and on starting out...any tips on how i can get it all smoother...or is there anyway i can adjust that clutch to make it a lil more forgiving? any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated...thanks

only suggestion i could offer is just let the clutch out a little slower with a little more rpm too smooth it out. you should get used to it rather quickly, i noticed a slight difference when i got mine. the clutch seems to operate in a smaller range than a cable operated one. it only took me a couple days to get used to it. im not sure exactly where i rev it to when i take off but i would guess somewhere between 2000 to 2500 then let the clutch out slow and steady and off you go.

Try changing the position of your clutch lever and see where you get the most control. I recently adjusted mine closer while on the fly and it made a world of difference.
