Well, I did it. After moving back to the US from Italy, I am no longer the owner of a VFR. A sad day.

Until I can replace it, I am borrowing bikes from my family. Here is a pic of me (On the Ducati) and my mom (on her Ninja), out on a Sunday ride:

When I get to the point I can pick up a new bike, the new VFR800's are looking mighty tempting....

Not a bad idea to borrow bikes, but nothing compares to the one you can call your own. Welcome back to the good ole USA.

At least you're not without a ride and you have time to make sure which Gen VFR you want next. I love my 6th Gen, but I am tempted by the 2014 / 2015 800 .....

Welcome Home JacksonAces! Not a bad bike to borrow IMO! That's cool that your mom also rides. My dad had to give up riding when he lost vision in one eye and has limited vision with the other. I used to spend a lot time riding with him, would have loved to keep riding with him. Good luck with your search on getting a bike of your own.

    Cheers
