Speedometer dosnt work right

    my speedometer goes crazy if i drive under 40 mpg and when i go over it fine but the mph is always wrong ill be going 45 and it will be saying 60

    anyone got any ideas

    Nope. None. None at all. :confused:

    You've posted in the 3rd and 4th Generation Forums bf5005.

    The '90 to '93 3rd gen. bikes use a speedometer cable and a small gearbox to drive the speedometer.

    The '94 to '97 4th gen. bikes use an electronic speed sensor assembly to send the signal to the speedometer.

    Kinda hard for anyone here on the forum to help you troubleshoot your speedometer problem if you don't list what year and model bike you have in your post my friend.
