My 2006 has started developing a starting or should I say not starting issue.
Last week I rode for two hours strait and stopped for 1/2 an hour.
After which the bike would not start.
No digital readouts, only neutral and high beem light indicator lights on.
After a quick jump I was on my way with no further problems.
I even stopped two more times and shut off engin with no problem starting.

Yesterday I started the bike for my uncle, just to show him the awesome power and sound of the V-4 engine and had no problem starting.

Today, I went to go riding with Whit and some others, the bike started with no problem.
We rode to a meeting place about 5 miles away and the bike would not start up again after sitting for 5 minutes.
We jumped the bike, started right up, rode to a gas station to fuel up, and after fueling up the bike would not start again.

    WTFO??

Got another jump and went home.
I didn't want to chance getting stuck in Eastern MD with no way home except for the back of another bike.

About an hour after getting home I started the bike up with no problem.

Anyone have this problem before or have an idea?

Check your battery terminals to make sure they're tight.

Put a voltmeter on your battery to make sure your charging system is operative.

02 - 05 models have a recall regarding poor connection, melting, corroding of the blue multi pin ground block connector underneath the left middle fairing. Don't think that applies to 06 and later but it wouldn't hurt to have a look anyway.

Certainly sounds electrical as stated above, especially if jumping gets her going every time.
