just if theres a more lower sportier handle bar to fit my 85 vf 500 is there another bike i can take them from or aftermarket supplier?
I'm gonna assume you mean clip-ons? I've seen people use clip-ons from a CBR600F Hurricane. That's what I'm going to do. I believe you will need to relocate the fuse box though. I believe the fork tubes are 37mm, so any 37mm clip-on will physically fit, but you may have other clearance issues.
