I just spent last Sunday in Grattan Michigan with an outfit called Sport Bike Track Time. They run the practice time programs at many mid west tracks. As i had not been on the track for 10 years, I signed up for Novice and was very pleased wit the high quality of the instruction and instructor access. For $125 received instruction and 7 - 20 min sessions. Well worth the day.

    Cool brother!

I've heard STT has a great intro program for track newbies.

Sounds like a good deal, guess I better check them out too. Here (Omaha area) Track Addix run the school and track programs. I have already taken advantage of their "Try the Track" days a couple times. No bike mods or specific gear (no full leather suit required) and for $50 ($25 with coupon) you get two 15 minute sessions on the track. It's great for getting the bug and seeing if spending a grand or two on gear will be worth it to you.
