    IF you want decent quality, expect to pay $130-$150. You can't cheap-out here, and don't even think about using a non O-ring chain on a VFR.

    If you pay less you're probably getting junk, and you'll be replacing it again soon.

    Avoid aluminum rear sprockets unless you want to buy lots of them.
