Was wondering if anybody could help me with a wiring question. My start switch went bad on my 84 500 int. so until I can get a new control I cut the wires to manually start because I really want to ride! The weather has been beautiful. There are only 4 wires: blue with white stripe(headlight), Yellow with red stripe (starter), black with red stripe(hot wire?) solid black wire(hot wire?)-I was able to start the bike using both hot wires. SO, WHY ARE THERE 2 HOT WIRES AND WHICH HOT WIRE DOES THE HEADLIGHT STAY CONNECTED TO? ANY HELP WOULD GREATLY BE APPRECIATED!!!
