Suggestions for replacement STATOR 1986-87 VFR700/750

    As the OEM Honda part is N.L.A. what have members found is a QUALITY Replacement?

    I see several Chinese ones on E-Bay.

    "Rick's" @ $145:00

    or Used--several on E-Bay but how reliable are those??


    Suggestions / comments would be greatly appreciated.

    These stators are fairly robust in my experience. If it was me in the same position, I would buy a used one off ebay on a listing that verified mileage under 20k. (And was also a reasonable price).

    Not knocking any Ricks's products, but just don't have any experience with them. But I have seen 3 original stators still going after 100K miles.
