Dude, I've been tryin to get a ride together for weeks, and then you want to ride the day my friend practically made me promise to come to her BBQ... umm, how bout tomorrow? hehe.. okay, I'll ride tomorrow without you. i did get some riding in today. I got down to slo and bri gave me a mirror then I took the long way home then I got a call from vic wanting to blow off some steam after a bad workday so we thrashed hwy 41 out towards shandon. he's getting better. still not moving off the seat yet, but I found out why. his FZ6 has a glue coating I think. that seat feels like memory foam... Maybe we can get a big ride together next Sat 5th? I work Sunday, though for the next 2 weeks... I'd like to do a longer ride than we have been getting in lately... Maybe we could all load up and head over to Bruise Lee's neck of the woods. That might be fun...

Saturday is definitely iffy for me. I have a feeling I'm going to be battling the weather back from Texas.
Maybe a late breakfast run Sunday if your BBQ isn't too early. Keep me posted.

I think the 5th might work too. Been even thinking about doing an overnighter through death valley to viva las vegas.

I might be able to put around some on Saturday... The weather isn't going to be a problem, but the airplane that has been FINISHED since monday is still in pieces... They sware they're going to work all night to have it back together...

Spinner isn't done, tailcone is somewhere, touchups are needed all around, and the interior panels aren't in...

Elmo swares it'll be ready in the AM, LOL.

I tlked to the girl about the BBQ. She is talking like 1300 or 1400 so we'd have to go early. But, I talked to a buddy who works in ICU also today about the ride Sun am and he seemes at least semi-interested. Tori told me I can borrow his camera mount, but my cam is a Hi - 8 so and I don't have any way to get it onto a comp...

The earliest Rich and i can leave lompoc is about 8:30. Any thoughts on where to meet or go? North County is you area, so toss some ideas out.

Nothing too gnarly though. The blackbird is needing tires...

Meet for coffee and putt around in the hills? Could be up there about a quarter til 10.

So the fuel pump decides it doesn't want to actually PUMP any fuel... Soonest one could be here from Wichita is tomorrow. One more night in Texas for me...

On the plus side, The Rib Shack had fried catfish on special today. Nothing like some soulfood to make you feel better.

If it's not on the fedex plane tomorrow, guess I'll have to raincheck on Sunday. Will keep you posted.
