    I'm shopping around for a VFR and this guy says his 91 has a GSXR 1000 regulator rectifier on it. Does anyone know if this is a reliable substitute? :confused:

    I've had a 750 GSXR R/R (w/ computer fan) on my '97 for over a year (5000+ miles) with NO problems. I commute in 100 degree heat and do long weekend runs without any battery/electrical issues. There are some other wiring mods that are relatively simple that go a long way to enhance the electrical reliability.
