A friend of mine has a 2000 vfr 800 and I mentioned syncing the throttle bodies and I was wondering if that can be done on the fi bikes? I have read something about syncing some idle valves, but not real sure about that. Are there a couple of things that need synced on these bikes?

Yes in deedy do you can and need to sync the throttle bodies just like you did on older bikes with carbs. Really you're synching the starter valves but they're built into the throttle bodies so same difference.
