Interesting write up on the British Ace with the Honda supplied VFR1200 motor. Nice engine mods. https://amcn.com.au/editorial/first-ride-ariel-ace-r/
A motor like that is what we need in a Honda sport bike!!!!! I'm surprised at the weight though, thought with all the CF it would weigh less. But it has plenty of HP.
That’s what I thought. CF wheels and body work, lightened engine internals with all the fairings removed and it’s still over 200kg. It must be very flickable with such a steep steering angle.
Yeah I bet for its weight its still very flickable but what about high speed stability? Perhaps they found a balance.
It uses the Honda swingarm and shaft drive which is long, so should be stable since they are capable of 300kmh.
there is something to be said for Air Cooled bikes as they are a lot more 'tidy' looking as a Naked bike, most recent 'Nakeds' are as ugly as a hatful of arseholes with hoses etc visible, I have a 1982 Suzuki 1100 GSX in bits in the garage I think it may be time soon to have a go at doing something with it as I am coming to the end of two and a half years working on the house and I will need to keep myself 'occupied'
UGgggllyy And EXPENSIVE as well!!!!! To each their own though as I see the production run is sold out.
Only 167kg and a LOT cleaner looking. I always like the F4. I see a lot of them when I track at Miami International, there is a MV club that races there often. I like the older round organ exhaust, not that the newer squared off organ is bad.
Their top of the line F4 is very nice but expensive. 175kg and 212 hp. https://www.mvagusta.com/en/model/f4/lh-44
