Throttle Control

    Just a comment on something I have found that seems to work for me.
    I grip the bar end with my little finger and the edge of the palm of my throttle hand. Actual operation of the throttle and front brake is done with the other 3 fingers.
    This gives me somewhat of a rest to help me dial in more or less throttle in small increments when needed.
    It also helps maintain a constant speed in speed zones as well as help reduce wrist/hand fatigue over the course of a 2 or 3 hour ride.

    Probably nothing new to many of you, but my VFR experience is only 5,000 miles.

    Nope, a new one on me. You may be putting too much weight on your hands/wrists. They should be free to move without any problems. Your arms and wrists should be relaxed with no real weight resting on the bars.

    That's the way I do it anyway. :)
