My '98 VFR needs new sneakers I am considering the Pirelli Diablo Rosso III . They offer it in a 180/60. Has anyone tried going from the 55 to a 60? Thanks
And No Mods!?! That's great news! Can you tell exactly which tyre you put on? How much clearance do you have between the swing arm /exhaust and tyre Scrub that bitch in let me know if you think it was a good decision. My guess is if you spend more time on the sidewall you like it.
I've got the VFR set aside, as I'm working on 2 other bike projects..... no clearance issues on the sides because it isn't any wider than stock... should be lots at the swingarm, tire is only about 10mm larger in diameter... I have a high mount Delkevic, lots of clearance, but tight squeeze getting it in without removing the muffler.... the 190/55 I took out was way worse. Anyway, I'm just tied up at the moment and might be a coupla weeks before I go Viffer riding..... it is a Diablo Rosso III.
