todays ride = LSD and long shadows

    todays heat = long slow distance

    starting early means you get those long shadows
    terrible pic but, but thats what you get when rolling
    you may notice that my front tire is only about 23mm wide

    nice big horse ranch in the middle of nowhere. turf farm on the other side of the river.

    the etowah indian mounds. it was a happening place between 1000-AD to 1550-AD.

    the trusty steed- thousands of miles on this old friend
    built from washington state's finest aircraft grade alum tubing and choice italian bits

    the garmin keeps track of it all- dist, speed, elev, track, heart rate, etc.
    this is todays elevation vs speed. managing to keep HR in check all morning = LDS
    lottsa stops for fluids and pics. a couple of gels got me home without dying.
    if you ride into the bowl, at some point you gotta climb back out !!!

    heading toward a shower, some cytomax, and a nap in the AC.
    the real bonus is eating whatever i damn well please tonite!
