tools?

    hey guys, i think i know the answer to this question, but going to toss it out anyways.
    where is the tool kit supposed to be at on this bike? i suspect that the pervious owner decided to keep it- but maybe im just not lookn in the right place.

    If it is there, it is likely under the seat in a depression above the rear fender. black vinyl case. Granted on my 07 the "kit" contained a handle and c-hook for the SSWA chain adjustment. No screwdriver, no spanner, no real tool kit. I'm guessing it is like the paper documents for software... that just doesn't come with the bike... even used now. I added my own tools and some foam so things don't rattle.

    You can find them on e-bay, or your dealer. You'll want at least the chain tensioning tool IMHO.

    As nozzle advises its under the seat, if you've lifted the seat you should see the plastic Tool pouch right away.....

    If you haven't worked out how to lift your seat, look for the key slot above the SSB rear sprocket as you turn the key push the little black lever down (Gen 5) and lift the rear of the seat.

    thanks for the info guys... looks like the previous owner must have kept them. i suppose i'll have to go buy the chain wrench from honda.. that's about all i really need at the moment.
