Well I got to say the track season has begun and the first one was very blessed! In attendance were Bubba Zanetti, betarace, and our friends Steve and Jeff and we all rode together in all seven sessions! First time I’ve ever done that. I am normally pretty tired and skip at least one session.

betarace and Steve had finished up Keith Code school before hand and all I got to say is WOW! betarace was faster than me last time, but now he is A LOT faster. Same with Steve, I was faster than him. Not anymore lol! Never underestimate the power of professional training folks. God willing, I’ll be attending my first Keith Code school in Spring 2010! (Already saving my nickels).

But the most impressive was my friend Jeff on his Hayabusa. Jeff has always been a better rider than me, but some kind of light bulb went off in his head and he is now running a really fast NESBA B-group pace. Him and betarace both. The NESBA control riders really enjoyed Jeff riding ‘the pig’ as he calls it the way he did. When we were in the pits getting feedback some guy on an R6 pulled up to Jeff laughing and telling him he never thought he would get passed on the track by a ‘busa’

Well here’s a pic of me and betarace will be posting some ‘other’ pics too!

    Peace and God bless.

    continuing on...

the morning started off good enough, here Bubba enlightens Steve with a story about how he used to be a man. Notice how clean Steve's leathers are.

after 2 laps of session #2 Steve shows us that he is #1
    [IMG]

he had a minor lowside at 75mph in turn 7, no damage to the bike other than he needs a new set of frame sliders

Never buy cheap chinese bearings - OR KNOCKOFF DUCATI LEATHERS FROM PAKISTAN!!!

aaaaaawwwweeeee man :frown: thank you so much for offering. but as of now, my financial situation would not let me go to the track, and i dont expect it to change in august. (not to mention that i have no health insurance)

    Jay:

I understand the financial side, but I have to say if you ride on the street with no health insurance, statistically speaking, you are at way greater risk than riding on the track. Oddley enough, I rode without insurance on the street back when I had my Pearl White 93.

The track season is from March to November. So save some nickels for next year!

I'm saving some right now to join the gang on the 8th at NJMP-Lightning.

NESBA is not in my area :(

I've heard really good things about TTD's and I know they're in NJ as well. Just thought I'd ask.

i know that your at greater risk on the street. but i thought tracks require you to have insurance? technically i dont have health insurance but i do have some medical coverage through my bike insurance.

My Wife will be in the Keith Code Kommiefornia Superbike School at ThunderBolt on 10 Aug. Any of you guys going to be there on 10 Aug?

My birthday is 9 Aug & we're spending it in Atlantic City. Anyone willing to drop $50 for a steak dinner is welcome to join us at the Old Homestead in the Borgata.

    KC-10 FE out...

Lookin' good out there guys! Sorry I couldn't join you for this one. My track schedule will be picking up dramatically in the next month. Lightening this Saturday with Team Pro Motion, Thunderbolt with MotorcycleXcitment on the 25th and Jefferson with NESBA on July 4th. After that, new credit card applications will be in the mail, haha! Kidding.

You're going back to NJMP on August 8th? Perhaps I can make that also. I'll pencil it in.

    Hey Two:

How was Americade? I wondered when you would drop in on this thread.

If you can make the 8th that would be cool. I won't be able to sign up until the 11th hour. I am praying I make the cut! LOL!

Keep us posted and post up some pics from your unpcoming days.

Americade was good minus the ride up on Friday. It was pouring the whole way up until north of the Catskills. Saturday was great weather and some awesome stretches of road. There are two roads up there that are in my top 10 if not top 5. Great stuff! I have some video although I can't do the roads justice with it.

The 11th hour is tough especially in your current group. That's the single biggest advantage of the A group with NESBA. You can usually sign up the day before if you want to...in due time Bubba! Either that or use a different organization. I've reached the point where I don't really care who the organization is. Just take my money and let me ride, haha!
