This is my first post in this forum (thank you for having me) so forgive me if its in the wrong place.

My first ever bike was an '85 500cc interceptor and I loved it. My second was a Yamaha 600 and the inline 4 just didn’t do it for me. So after a 4 year break without a bike I’m looking to get back onto a bike and have found a beautiful 1995 VFR750 for sale in New York.

My question is in regards to the actual value of these bikes. The dealer ship the bike is at wants $3,900 for the bike but the K.B. retail value is shown to be $3,375. Is the bike really worth more then the suggested retail value? It has about 16000 miles and from what I can see in the picture the paint is almost perfect and has a carbon fiber pipe. Though I admit the whimpy looking pipe would be the first thing Id change, it’s about the diameter of a #2 pencil and sits right in front of the wheel.

Thanks for your time and advice.
