Vancouver Island VF750 owner - hi there

Hello - long-time '83 750 Interceptor owner here. I live on Vancouver Island in BC Canada.

I have a red/white 1983 VF750F with about 8,500 original kms. Mostly garage kept so it's in pretty decent shape.

Would love to connect with other owners especially if you're in the neighbourhood!

Welcome, long time owner too since new), originally Blue & White, now 85 color scheme. Sorry, not in your neighborhood (but I did buy it in Toronto before we moved), but there are a lot of Canadian members here.

LOVE VANCOUVER ISLAND! Welcome to the World. Where on south island. I lived in Nanaimo for seemed like ten years from 78 - 80 and was fortunate enough to get transferred to Campbell River for 9 years. Loved that place but was then transferred to Chilliwack where if you're not Dutch, you're not much. And the blind can tell when going though the city on a bus by the distinct odour of well fermented dairy cow shit. Wished I was back on the island, except of course, Nanaimo.

 

Funny, how Honda's "Worst Bike" in like, forever, is still around, in droves, over 30 years later! VF's are cool!

 

I think that you should surrender that harshly polluting non-California model VF750. We could replace it with a nice Toyota Prius. On my trip there, I've never seen so many Toyota Prius's. Gov't must help pay for them or something? Nice avatar pic., Allyance!

Welcome to the forum. Seems like the majority of the people on here are Canadian. Who knows, maybe these hot-running bikes last longer in cold climes.
