It seems that this site has valve springs in stock. Every other VF500 part that they don't have says "Not Available", so I have no reason to believe that they do not have them. I went all the way to the checkout and it even indicated the shipping dates for the parts in my cart. I did not go through with it because I am still uncertain if I am keeping my bike.

If anyone orders a set, please let us know.

On another note - anyone know where to find an oversize piston and ring set? I am trying to see what I can line up for essential parts to help my keep/don't keep decision.

I was looking to buy about $17 in coolant tube o-rings from them, but decided not to go through with it when I saw almost $18 for shipping! AND, I know for a fact that it will take a couple weeks, since I know someone that has ordered from them in the past. I think I'll take my business to the local dealer.

i ordered a fuel pump from them, i went through the checkout paid for for the part waited three weeks until they emailed me and said it was no longer available. i would be wary of them dealing with them was not that easy over the phone either, i may have just had a bad experience but i would call them before ordering anything, i will not be ordering from them again if i can avoid it

That is the point of my thread. No one here has reported being able to find a dealer that has or can get the springs.

If this company does have them I am sure people might consider the hassle. The situation is desperate now with valve springs and other parts. I would really like to know if the VF400 valve springs that Invisible Cities was looking into are an option...

I'd say that if the OE part number is the same that it should be fine.

Just go to Bikebandit and search their website with the part number. It usually tells you what machines that part number will fit.

Looks like all these models share the same valve springs:

    1984 Honda VF500C V30 MAGNA
    1984 Honda VF500F INTERCEPTOR
    1985 Honda VF500C V30 MAGNA
    1985 Honda VF500F INTERCEPTOR
    1988 Honda VTR250 INTERCEPTOR
    1989 Honda VTR250 INTERCEPTOR
    1990 Honda VTR250 INTERCEPTOR

If it's a part I know is out of stock elsewhere I call first. It's possible they have a few left but it's more likely that they're lazy and haven't bothered updating their site.
