VF500F and F2 handlebars

A new one on me. The handlebars of the Euro fully faired F2 are completely different geometry to the half faired F/Interceptor US/Euro handlebars. The F handlebars are more in line with the alloy clamp and have a greater rise (like helibars for example). The F2 handlebars are more offset and the rise is much less. I have sets of both. Was going to mod a set of F bars to take some heated grips I have but not sure now that they are going to fit the F2. I assume Honda made the change for a reason.

Update; the reason they changed them is the F bars will foul on the F2 fairing at full lock.
