Ok i have been doing some searching on the VF750 like i have and the VF1000. And i keep getting inconsistent weights for the 750 model. On the specs here it states the 750 is 248 kg (546.7 lb) and the Motorcycle specs site states it is 221 kg (487.22 lbs). While both here and the motorcycle specs site state the VF1000 is 234 kg (516 lb). Which weight is correct for the 750?

Most likely, but the middle one I don't know...
Got a bathroom scale? Set it on driveway, lay piece of plywood over it like a ramp, and roll the front tire onto the scale. Do the same for the rear. Then you will have your own personal "curb" weight. Be sure to note the level of fuel in the tank, or you will be back at square one!

My 85 VF700F which is practically identical to the 750 is more around the 560 pound area wet. I'll have to get an exact weight sometime because I'm also curious.

Factory weight for a stock 83 is 493 dry and 537 wet. 84/85 should weigh about the same.

The VF1000's are right at 600lb wet and the 700/750's are only about 20-30lb lighter. Don't trust claimed dry weights, they are pretty bogus.
