I was wondering if there are any compatible parts between the 2003+ models. (6h gen VFR and 600RR or 1000RR's I specifically was thinking about the suspension (shocks front and rear) and bakes (rotors, pads, and calipers). It’s not that I am unsatisfied with either, but if I could find a cheap swap I would be interested in doing it for a ‘just cause’ type scenario.
I know that the rear shock from a 929 has been swapped to both a 4g and 5th gen VFR before, but I do not know specific years, and I am not sure if I know anyone who has used a rear shock from the cbr1000 on a VFR at all... Did you try a search for the specific parts you want to check like: "rear shock swap" or something like that? You may be able to find some helpful info but it might take some digging.
