Hi, my first post, from the UK. Does anyone know if the original Honda luggage from a VTEC VFR will fit on the pre VTEC model?

Short answer "yes" (see pics). Long answer - "it's not plug and play". This bike is not mine - just found the photos on-line. It would just take some fabrication or modification of the mounts - probably not a hard job if you have a tubing bender and can weld.

a tubing bender AND a Wolf underseat exhaust.....

you'll have to deal with the side exhaust vs. the underseat of the 6th Gen.
there is a guy...flameface, i think, that adapted a set of BMW K-bike hard bags. they look pretty cool.

    welcome to the site BTW......

    Luggage

There's a set of VTEC luggage, right colour, good money on Ebay, my old girl is pre VTEC hence the question. Thanks for the advice chaps. I think once I factor in the bending, welding and exhaust issues they'll not be such a good proposition.
    Kind regards

    Steve

UK VFR: Welcome. I too have been interested in getting hard luggage for my 5th gen. My funds don't currently allow so i'm getting by a pretty decent set of fieldsheer soft luggage right now. From what I've seen factory luggage may look nicer but the quality of the givi stuff can't be beat. I know there tends to be a decent amount of used givi stuff around, and alot of the cases are universal, you just need the mounting rack. Most of the cases can also be painted to match your bike and some even have lights in them for tail/turn signals.
