I am looking to joining up with some of you for some distance rides in the Western U.S. and getting knowledge of this bike this year. And next year getting into Canada. I do ride better than I use the English language After having both skills for over 30yrs !;-) Just a shout out. Thanks

Na, you don't want to come out west, the roads suck big time. My advice is go east where it's flat and safe, AM can give ya a tour of the best there is. ;)

Lots of frothy pee if you are into frothy pee...on a large plate in the shape of Saskatchewan. Lolzzz
Really though, I didn't think it was all that bad. I loved riding in Saskatchewan!!

Lolzzz, RVFR...I can definitely give a very flat tour of this very flat place. I like to live dangerously though. So I get out of Kansas when I can. Lolzzz

Every Memorial Day weekend, we have a VFR get together in Atascadero, Ca. That would be something to consider making one year.

Check out all the R3 threads for a better idea.

Amazingly enough so do some "Utahn's". It's funny to see the perception of others about what someone living in Utah is really about! No funny underwear here! Someone from France posted "Do they Celebrate in Utah?" Hell ya, Family-God-Guns and amazing canyons! Like Texas, Utah wanted to be a separate Country and one time!:)

Thanks to all!, for your input this last couple of weeks! I have added the bar risers that color match at 1.25 inches rather than Hondas. And made "A HUGE DIFFERENCE FOR ME!" I got the color matched rear seat cowling from the dealer last week and installed it today. This, I would not have unless this community raised the question, but I think that it is to pretty to work on a Sport Tourer with soft bags rather than the stock or GIVI's or a passenger. It's going to scratch to easily and (I cannot and will not pay $865.00 for the stock bags.) Though I would love to have them.

The center stand was a bitch due to going from .6 hrs because they guessed and did not know that they had to remove the whole exhaust to install and changed it to 2.0 hours with the dealer shop cost. I did not have the tools to do the job. But, they cut me a break at 1.6 hours. It added weight that I did not want, but of course it will save me money in the long run as far as oil changes, Chain maintenance.

And Finally a "Tank Pad". I did not like it a first, but It will do the job and adds the "VFR 800" to the "Interceptor" cowling "Badge"

P.S. Every Honda VFR is "Badged" as such on the frame. It does not matter on the cowling or tank either U.S or world wide. It's just smaller and you all love this bike, and I am beginning to as well. I look forward to meaningful posts on Tweaks, Rides and meaningful banter rather than bullshit about the Gen 8 VFR. For now I got what I wanted. Again thank you for those that want to help new owners rather than judge and criticize even with the smallest questions or language that may not understood.
