VFR with powdercoated white wheels

    I thought I would share a pic of my VFR with freshly powder coated pearl white wheels and a new set of Michelin Road 5s as well right angle valve stems. I think it looks better than my RWB 25th I sold last year.
    I think it should have come from the factory this way.

    Both bikes looks great with those white wheels. How much does it cost to get that done?

    I paid NZ$195 to get two rims powdercoated on my 86 VFR recently. That's about US$140. I removed the discs and bearings and had the tyres removed also, but it seemed very reasonable for the amount of work done. IMG_2763.jpg

    PC is the way to go on rims, I find. Good excuse for nice new bearings and affordable without worrying about blemishes and inconsistencies if you cannot paint well yourself. Tons of color options as well.
