    Hi there.

I have bought a morad 4-1 exhaust system, stainless. I want to insert a kn airfilter filter and remove airfilterbox top/lid, more air, good sound.
This is a bike that not is used everyday, just once in a while...

Does someone have experience with this? Recommendations Re-jetting, jet sizes?

Probably best for you to get a K&N/Dynojet or Factory Pro jet kit, follow the directions, and try the recommended jetting.

You can keep experimenting with the selection of mainjets they supply and with needle washers.

And keep the lid. Remove the snorkel for sound, but you will be chasing your tail jetting it without the lid.

There are websites for the jets, needles and shims. Got mine at carbjetkits.com, they have good instructions too. I would not mess with the airbox, contrary to what you think, they are engineered for max evenness of airflow into the velocity stacks. Tried that years ago, no good.

From my experience, biggest problem going 4 into 1 on a gen 2 is tuning out the slight flatspot that will tend to occur somewhere between 4500-5500 rpms.

Ran a NT650 without a lid and racing exhaust, lots of intake roar, very fatiguing. Pictures of your viffer are always appreciated here

I wouldn't trust any one but DynoJet. Follow their instructions, exactly, precisely, to the letter. I re-jetted a Honda 599 with DynoJet Kit. It turned out perfectly. I can't say enough good things about what that did for how that bike runs and rides.
