VFRness installation

    I bought a VFR to upgrade the stock electrical s (My regulator died anyway so...). I am confused about the installation though.

    One wire plugs into the stator done
    One plugs into the regulator done
    One plugs in the starter solenoid (pain in the... done)
    the black goes to the battery?
    the red goes to the battery?

    Do the stock positive and negative go back on the battery as well?

    Can anyone please confirm?
