<img src="http://vfrworld.com/wapdevice2.jpg" align="left" hspace="20">Good news! You can now access VFRworld from your wireless device. I've created a "lite" version of the site, which allows for faster loading of pages on your cell phone, PDA, Blackberry, or any other web-enabled mobile device.

So now, whether you're at the department store waiting for your wife to choose a new pair of shoes, or stuck watching a financial-related presentation in the meeting from hell, you can access all your favorite VFR information on your Palm Pilot. You can even reply to topics right from your phone!

Just go to wap.VFRworld.com from your mobile device.

Just remember, even when you can't be out riding - ANY time is VFR time!

I visited VFR world mobile once a day ago with my iPhone and now I can't access the normal non mobile version anymore. I think it has logged my IP and is redirecting me. I have cleared my cache, removed temp files and cleared the history. The darn thing keeps going back.

My ipod touch does the same thing. I liked being able to access the non mobile site but I can't anymore. Anyone know if there's a way around it?

Yeah, this is an unfortunate side-effect of the mobile version. Once VFRworld decides that you must like mobile, it tries to make it easy on you and keeps you there. If you go to the following link, that should fix it. If it doesn't, please let me know:

    http://vfrworld.com/forums/?styleid=2

What I can do is add a link at the top of the page to go to the regular version, I'll do that ASAP.

Let me know if this solution works.

    Worked for me... THANK YOU!

I guess these mobile platforms weren't expecting iPhones and iPod Touch's or similar when they were designed. I like the .mobi route, you can have your pick that way.

Still doesn't work for me. Thanks though for your effort Michael. You are doing a great job with the site!

Jev did you by any chance wipe out your cookies and temp files before you tried. You will need to do a pwr cycle to actually remove that stuff once you have selected to do so.

Also before you do make sure that the current page in safari isn't vfr world so it can have a clean slate to work with.

Negative on that link working. My iPod is stuck in mobile mode.
About the only thing I haven't tried is reformatting it. Will give that a whack once I get home and let you know.

Pretty cool, but now that I am a Government pin head, and not a Corporate jackass...I won't be accessing this feature!

    :-(

    Still nice Michael!

My Treo 650 recognized the mobile site, downloaded content, but I could not sign in. If I get it working, I'll let Bubba browse the little screen next time we ride together... I've got your back vifferatti constrained by civil servitude

I got the same problem. I have a Treo 650 too, tried to log in using my id and password and no luck. Tried to post a reply on the forum and tells me I'm not logged in. I tried with the standard treo web browser called Blazer and I tried Xiino also and no luck.
