Does anybody know if a VTR100 front wheel will fit a 5th gen?

It won't be a straight swap; the brake discs are 7mm further apart on the 5th gen compared to the VTR. I don't know whether that is all in the discs or the wheel casting. The VTR has narrower forks as well, so a shorter axle.

I know the axle is the same but shorter.
You just use the VFR axle and spacers, and I also know the disks are different, but not sure if offset is the difference or diameter.
I really only need the hub size accross the VTR wheel to work it out.

I have both a VTR and VFR in my garage and I'm happy to measure whatever. What do you need to know? The discs have same diameter, different offset.

Wheel hub width VTR 100mm, VFR 107mm. Very hard to be exact without disassembly but the hub difference looks to be the same as the disc difference so I'd say the discs are the same.

Thanks Cadbury, that's what I was afraid of.
I was hoping of using a VTR front wheel on mine, as there is one going cheap and mine has been repaired at some stage.
I only noticed it last time I got a new front tyre, and don't like the thought of a repaired front.
