    Due to an unfortunate mishap while stopped, I am now in need of a left saddlebag or pannier for a 2012 VFR1200F. I will take any color...

    Just been through something similar, one of my panniers came off the bike as I set off, it mustn't have been on properly. It was written off as it caught the rear wheel as it dropped off and it has melted through the lower back of the box. Found that later Crossrunner boxes are identical, apart from the lock barrel, but the entire handle/lock mechanism simply swaps over. Managed to get a VFR800 Crossrunner pannier and after a respray, normal service is resumed. Also later VFR800F panniers are a direct fit.
