Hi peoples, I'm looking at putting some new pipes on my 09 vfr800 and in my first mod's topic some people mention changing the headers. So pro's and con's and also which type of headers to use if any at all. :thumbsup:
The search engine is your friend... 02-09 bikes are all the same except for electronics. Headers will fit 1998-2009. motads seem to be the higest quality but the best flow rates are a toss up between motad,delvic, and 98-99 stock headers. The 99-99 headers are steel though and have a tendency to rust. With your bike what you are looking for is to eliminate the cat and O2 sensors wich can be done with any of these options and a few resistors from radio shack. As far as I know there are no true performance headers for your bike.
