2009 is shaping up to be a great season, WSBK has added BMW & Aprilia to the field and Motogp is as strong as ever, so fellow gear heads, which Rider/Series/Bike are you most anticipating for the 2009 Racing Season?

    Nicky to Ducati?
    Spies to SBK?
    Haga to Ducati?
    Xaus/Corser on the BMW?
    Dovizioso to Repsol?
    SBK for the field?
    Biaggi/Nakano on the Aprilia?
    Rossi encore?
    Bridgestones in Motogp?
    AMA's Future?
    BMW in SBK?
    Aprilia in SBK?

Definitely looking forward to most of them, especially BMW in SBK, Hayden to Ducati (can here get anywhere near his MotoGP debut? How will he fair against Stoner?), and Spies to SBK (couldn't fair well in MotoGP?). Notable mentions would be Aprilia in SBK and Rossi's encore.

    Go team Ducati!!

They have taken the weekend off. I am looking forward to motogp the most because that is what I have the most access to. I will be following the others, if only through here.

Pfff, only cool thing is Hayden to Ducati, with Stoner where he is all thou I'm all for Hayden he's still second fiddle, as far as WBK goes Eee is okay at least it should be interesting, could still be a Bayliss show. and speaking of Show, Rossi as good as he is, IMO he can still take a flying leap. Reminds me of Micheal Jackson. Why do people get so crazy..

Ducati is currently the only team with two former world champions on the roster. Casey should be the numero uno, but I'm sure Nicky will get a pretty fair shake at Ducati. I'm actually kinda happy for the Kentucky Kid.

Pfff, Bayliss???? "As far as WBK goes" Bayliss has officially retired :whistle:and Nitro Nori was the recipient of his ride.

Rossi is the greatest of all time, (scoreboard, baby, scoreboard) He beat your boy :makeout: Stoner ("greatest traction control racer", at least I think that was the quote....) like a rented mule. Sucked the will to race right out of him at Laguna and he never was the same. People flock to Rossi because he is a fans champion and charismatic. A true racer, not to mention 500cc, 990cc and 800cc multi time champion. People go crazy because they get it. Michael Jackson? :tape:

Here are just a few of the things I've been thinking about:

    1. BMW and Aprilia will join the WSBK ranks in 2009...that will make 6 different marques on track at the same time....

    2. The demise of Superpole quali's in WSBK

    3. Nori Haga on the big Duc

    4. Ben Spies to Factory Yamaha WSBK team....another coup for Yamaha. He'll get to learn the tracks and be ready to step up with Jorge (sorry, Mr. Toseland) when the GOAT retires.

    5. Shinya Nakano will join the MotoGP expatriates in WSBK, on the RSV4

    6. The performance of the CF Desmo in MotoGP '09 testing

    7. The performance of a healthy Dani Pedrosa

    8. Andrea Dovizioso on the HRC Team for '09 in MotoGP

    9. Spec Bridgestones for all in MotoGP

    10. The return of Sete Gibernau

    11. Spec Tires and Fuel for AMA

    12. How Honda will handle the 2009 AMASBK next year with the mass exodus of crewmembers they have had.

I am looking forward to a dry track at Indy. It will be great to see what those guys can do on the track in non-hurricane conditions.

    1. Nori and Nicky on Ducs

    2. Rise of Hayden Gillim as a future star.

    3. BMW and Aprillia in WSBK

    4. Spec tires in Moto GP, this one fascinates me for some reason

    5. Whether DMG can get for AMA even a fraction of NASCAR popularity. If what I've seen so far is any indication, very doubtful. Adopting WSBK rules in the near future, not a bad idea.

    6. A chance to see the Indy race run without 75mph winds.

    cant wait to see:

Haga win SBK (he deserves it)
Hayden, Stoner and Rossi battle for MGP (Rossi wins)
Pedrosa to be exposed for what he is (whining midget)
Aprilia back - great bike, despite how Biaggi cracks about it in week 3

    1. WSBK - there are more bikes, more manufacturers and more races
-the BWM, Aprilla, and perhaps an MV Augusta/Harley announcement (wishful thinking)

    2. MotoGP
2.1 Hayden on the Duc - but we'll know alot about his *season* will be exciting with testing lap times this off season
2.2. Pedrosa under tremendous pressure to win a championship and how Dovi fairs in the "Team's" garage
2.3 If Suzuki can get their bike to compete
2.4 If Kawasaki can get thier bike to finish all the races without parts falling off

    3. AMA/NASCAR - My interest is elsewhere until this proves worth following

    4. the 2010 V-5 VFR mid-year release
