My 1997 VFR is not charging. Looking at my Clymer manual, one obvious component that could cause this is a "bad" rectifier. I was going to go through a big series of tests..but then saw rectifiers on Ebay from $12.95 to way over $100. I just bought a $12.95 one and am skipping doing tests. What's to lose? Wondering why anyone would buy an expensive rectifier..what am I missing?
