Hi Guys, I have a 2005 VFR800 w/abs and I am looking for a spare muffler to gut.
I saw one listed locally from a 2002, the parts numbers are slightly different. Does anyone know if it will fit or what the differences are?

Thanks for the replies, I just signed up at VFR World but I have been lurking for awhile.
I just picked up a Silver 2005 VFR w/abs. It has a salvage title and only 17 thousand kms. I had a look at it 2 weeks ago and it was cleen with no visible damage except one small scratch on the frame. I offered the seller $4000 (he was asking $4800) and he said no. Later in the week it fell over in his parking stall scratching the lower and upper left fairing and curling the clutch lever. The clutch would engage but would not release smoothly(the bike would lurch and stall) I gldly paid him $3100 and trailered the bike home. From there I added some Dot 4 adjusted the lever and went for a ride.
The bike rides Perfect, no issues at all. Very solid and powerfull. It also came with a Colour matching seat cowl and Givi top case.
I will add some pics when I get a chance. It is totally stock. I plan on having the scratched fairing resprayed and I have ordered some large HONDA deals for the lower fairings.
"Quicker" is the handle that I use on KTMtalk and I thought I would carry it over here. I have had over 30 bikes, dirt street and dualsport. I currently have a 2012 XC 250 for offroad.
I look forward to learning more form yu guys in the future.

At some point and time the bike was considered a write off. Someone rebuilt it , had it inspected and re- registered it.
Sometimes the bike is a total mess other times the plastics are broken and the insurance company replaces the machine and auctions the damaged one.
