... and new to motorcycling PERIOD!

Yes, this is my first bike - and I am in my 30's! Oh well better late than never right?

Picked up my '99 VFR 800 last week and finally took it out today for a short ride. Love this thing!

Not sure why I waited so long!

Welcome. You were not as late as me. My 06 was my first bike "ridden" ever. Was brand new when I got it. Oh....I am 55 nowand have 108,000 km on the bike now.

Welcome to the forum. Here it is advantageous to be wise, tolerent, permissive, thick skinned, knowledgeable, at a loss for anything and a know it all. Prozac helps but beer is better.
