Yoshimura exhaust

Hello, I have an '87 vfr700 on it way to me and happened to find a 3/4 length Yosh exhaust for sale. The seller says it's new and comes with brackets to attache it. He wants $229 for it. Is this a decent price? Good pipe? As far as I know the exhaust on my bike is in great condition, I just thought that it might be a good idea to start to 'find' different things for future.

That would be a rare find if it's indeed a new piece. My feelings on price are always, if you are willing to pay that much, it's fair. I don't remember them being gold color though. maybe a trick of the light.

 

No, that's a piece of paper wrapped around it making it look gold. Would this just bolt onto part of the stock system, making a 4-2-1?

Yeah. A couple of companies made the systems but most sounded like junk. The yosh was pretty good though. If you decide not to get it let me know. Maybe I can lean on the guy for a better price. :boxing:

I noticed a Yosh system on ebay for $95. No pics of it shown.
