    Bambi[IMG]

The path bike took after hitting Bambi:[IMG]

The deep gully bike landed in:[IMG]

And last but not the least, the bike:[IMG]

This was out in the sticks of north east Oregon where no one is ever around, no land lines, no cell service. That bike was ridden from there to Spokane Washington after we got it out of the ditch. ATGATT allowed the rider to walk and ride away from this even after he hit that tree. Notice the furrow in the gravel?

    Wow were you with him?
Bikes looks like it started grinding on the left side, sure it went end over end.
    Can't believe he rode after
    Superman. Glad he survived

I didn't see what happened. He is a far more skilled rider than I so I was quite a ways behind him. The good thing is, he was far enough ahead, that he was able to scramble up to the road and wave us down. Otherwise we would have ridden right past him. That bike had a totally bent sub frame. There was about a 3 or so degree kink to the left on that frame. It was the oddest thing to ride behind. Ride was black and blue the next morning. Fortunately we had trailered from home to Spokane. I don't think he could have ridden that far. That was another 5 or so hours away if not longer. His ride in the truck was not the most comfortable as it was.

I don't think he went end over end thought. You can't see it because of the grasses, but that ditch is all rocks.

Wow, in all my years of street riding(84) besides me crashing, only witnessed one---Stuka's off road excursion was my first and hopefully my last.

ok you asked. on the short side

I never saw the bike at the scene, it was down the street a 100 ft or so wrapped around a pole. My son took this with his cell phone.

    Pretty much won't rub out.

To this day I'm still very jumpy at things coming out of my peripheral vision.

He was negotiating a right curve around a hill on his right, and the deep ditch on the left. Going at a sporting clip. The deer jumped out and he hit the deer which was in mid air at the time. I guess the bike went down and slid along on its left side with
