    That's Ireland, not me!
Just sold my GS after a long line of BMW's and about to scratch an itch that I've had for a while.
Picking up my 2010 VFR1200F DCT with 18k miles and full luggage at the weekend.
In my sixties now, but have been riding since early seventies. Think raising the bars might be my first job.
Like to do 12-15k miles a year, no commuting, just for fun. That really knocks the resale value of your BMW.
Never mind the iffy finish and expensive parts.
Looking forward to going over to Wales at the weekend to pick her up.

It was an R1200GS twin cam. Great bike and had done just over 30k miles in the two years that I had it.
I'm a bit short in the leg and after recently replacing the suspension (ouch) it was slightly higher and was just finding it a bit stressful stopping unless the ground was completely flat. Had a low seat fitted but the GS seat is fairly wide.
It was going to be a case of when, not if, it fell over on me.
Had the fueling running really well using O2 manipulators called AF XiED units from Nightrider. They fool the ECU into enriching the fuel ratio. Wondered if anyone has used anything similar on the VF?
Was slightly concerned about the weight of the VF. But I know it's low and the seat is narrow where it counts.
Besides, before the GS I had a K1600GT, which at 335kg, makes the VF look like a lightweight.
I'll get some pics of the latest one up after the weekend. Will have worked out how to by then.
It's red, the fastest colour, of course.

Welcome! Sounds like you enjoy the fun riding as I do, though I commute when I can.
Will be great to see photos, super days ahead for you on the new moto!
