I started out on a little 92 Nighthawk 250. It was a custom silver painted one that I bought off a guy a few years back for $800. She ran like a beauty and only had 6000 miles. I took that thing on road, down trails, through the woods, and it took it all lol. And the 70mpg was unbeatable compared to all the beater cars my friends were driving at the time. It's a shame I got slammed by a SUV in too big a hurry.

This is the best looking Nighthawk in existence, IMHO. There was one for sale in FL a month or so ago for $3000. I've been kicking myself ever since for not buying it. It was in pristine condition too. One day I'll add one to the stable. The-Price-is-Right-1986-Honda-Nighthawk-CB700SC-Left-Side.jpg

I've always loved the looks of that bike. And of course that RWB paint scheme is as sexy as they get!

Black mirrors, and levers ready for install. Factory style turn signals but with short stems too. Can't stand those tiny LEDS that my brother had installed. Ordered a rear Dunlop K505 to match the new front that my sister had installed. No one local stocks a 140/70-17 anymore :mad-new:

Leaning towards emerald green metallic paint.....

If ya like green, it's a great color. Painted my 72 bug back in the day that color.

This is one of the few greens I like. I was leaning towards blue but I told my 11 yo son to pick any color and this was his choice

Wow! Have not seen this in a while. Wanted this red and black one so so bad back in the day. Probably would have wound up with one but found the '85 500 interceptor first. Still have a soft spot for one of these and still looks good to me.

I've always liked the looks of the NightHawks ALMOST as much as the Interceptors...

New rear tire mounted and ready to go on. Various odds and ends fixed. Just about ready for her maiden voyage, 25 years later. If she shakes off the cob webs in good fashion we'll clean, polish, paint, etc.....

Had a few minor setbacks but she is now ready to go, just need to get tags and insurance. She's not the prettiest girl at the dance (that'll happen over the winter) but she'll do for now...

I owned two '84 Nighthawk S models, both red/black and both bought new. Both were killed by drunk drivers (I survived). Canadian models were 750's and I have never loved a motorcycle more

My first bike was an 84 CB650SC Nighthawk. Great bike and built super solid. Had it for 63,000 miles and other than a stator replacement only needed plugs and oil. After almost 20 years finally sold it to a young woman as her first bike. Probably still out there riding around.

    Great thread! :)
I loved my 93 night hawk! It was one of the best bike I've ever owned. Every time I look at the night hawks I always have the best thoughts and memories of the one I used to own. I rode the wheels off of that bike! Lol
When I had that bike, I bought a brand new dodge ram pick up truck and a brand new vtr1000f superhawk. I only put 20,000 miles on that truck in three years, and only 2000 miles on the superhawk. I took that night hawk every time I went anywhere. I passed up on riding a brand new superhawk and diving a brand new truck just so I could be on that cb750! :)
