Hey, I'm Michael from TN. Just traded in my Harley for a new 2014 Interceptor. I used to have sport bikes a long time ago but got hurt so it was very painful for me to lean over so far. I did not want to stop riding so I have gone through a few Harleys. Now that I am in better shape than I was I decided to go back to a sport bike but still semi comfortable lol

Welcome. But if there is no photographic evidence, it did not happen. Harley Huh? You must be a dedicated mechanic.

Then again I should not be so bold. My VFR has been in the shop for over a week and we can't figure out the problem. Hell, It only has a bit over 130,000 miles on it too.

Haha sorry. I added a pic I took last night to the original post. I really did not have any issues out of my last Harley, which was a fat bob, however my 01 sportster was a nighmare.

Congrats on getting a 8th gen, you will love it. If you find the riding position is a little too sporty as I did, look into bar risers by MotoPumps and Knight Designs foot pegs (1” lower),

You sir...are a bastard! I may be in need of a new bike and yours is exactly what I want. But hard to find up here. They tend to blend in with our igloos. Time will tell though. There is one down in Burlington Washington but they are asking far too much for it. By the time I pay the tax and duties and exchange, it would be about $16K Canadian.

Wow that's a crazy price jump. The local dealer I got mine from has one more new 14 in red left.

Last I saw, the Canadian dollar was about 80 cents USD. Then there is about 14% in taxes in BC. I don't know what the tariff will be on this. I should check with a friend who imported a new 05 years ago.

I presume it would be easy enough. But then there is the brokerage fees to pay on top of everything else

If I were to buy one down there, I would fly there and ride it back. Make a trip out of it. It would probably cost a little more, depending on where I would buy, but it would be worth the experience.

If I were any further west, English would be my second language. Chilliwack, 1 1/2 hours from the ocean.
