I'm not sure how many of you folks have young kids, but mine were up 12, yes happy contestants 12 times last night.

Son :drum:3 1/2 now starting with the nightmares and wanting to come in. Came in 8 times btw 2:30 $ 4:30. I refuse before like 5:30 when its more morning than middle of night.

Girl :baby:16 mo's teething molars. Started in at 4:30 to 6 up 4 times.

Wife :hippie:can't get them> total insomniac> needs cryogenic chamber. Me: :boom:well those who know, know. I can take it but am lucky if I'm 4th.

    And I wonder why I drink.:tea:

Ah yes. I remember but I don't think I ever got up 12 times in a night. Up most of the night with sick kids a few times but thankfully not that many. Thank god it does get better as they get older, or should I say the issues change.

You are not kidding. Riding the other day through the piedmont here in VA really flushed me out. There is something about not being able to concentrate on anything but riding that really clears it all out.

Waiting for the icestorm in Virginia that hopefully won't come.

Man I thought I had it bad with the coyotes howling at night, but it doesn't compare with that scenario  Thank god you have your Shotokan and the VFR to clear your mind...

At least if you are hearing coyotes, you know you are someplace worth being! I loved WA in my short stint.

I can relate I have six that live with me ranging from 5 to 13, its always something. One of the seven year olds is disabled & she will shreik like banshee in the middle of night & won't quit often times just because she wants a glass of water or she dropped her favorite blanket on the floor. The 5 yr old thinks his bedroom is my bedroom. The other 7 yr old, the 9 yr old & the 11 yr old like to get up in the middle of the night raid the fridge & watch TV( 24 hr cartoon channels, whose idea was that?) my 13 yr old has become aloof & barracades herself in her room either watching movies or reading books( @ least she reads & is a straight A student)

Tbones-- I don't know what's making me laugh harder your post, or your Packer's pic. My family(what's left of them) is from Mondovi WI near Green Bay so everyone is huge Packer's fans.....still laughing. I especially like the daughter barricading herself...:grouphug:

I work in Mondovi, I'm a Dealer Service Rep stationed @ Marten Transport; pretty much the only game in town besides the canning factory & farming. Oh' well works for me, small town living, big city paycheck. Packer pic had me rolling on the floor as well(see gallery for those who haven't seen it)
